If you are denied, I am sorry, and the next step is enrolling at another college and possibly looking at transferring to UGA (you cannot apply RD if you are denied EA). Should I apply Early Action or Regular Decision?

On these treks, I was thinking about how infrequently I get long stretches of time alone. My point is that when it comes to college admission, many of the words we used to use, and many of the metrics that seemed helpful or instructive, have shifted dramatically. GPAs were more uniform and test scores were required of all applicants.

On April 11, Harvard College announced it would require applicants for the class of 2029 — applying in fall 2024 — to submit SAT or ACT scores. If a student is unable to access one of these tests, Harvard will instead accept Advanced Placement or the International Baccalaureate exam scores.
