This week, Money Magazine released their list of the best colleges in America based on an analysis of over 700 four-year colleges. Their new methodology places colleges into one of six star ratings (from 2.5 stars to 5 stars) based on data points including graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid and alumni salaries. They claim their rating system helps families make decisions about how to invest their tuition dollars.

New MBA Program Enrolls Students at Rural West Virginia College

Glenville State University will launch its MBA program this fall. The program requires an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher or a transfer graduate credit of at least six credit hours and a 3.0 GPA. The program includes a data-focused course in its core curriculum alongside traditional MBA courses based around ethics and leadership. A new master of business administration (MBA) program is now enrolling students at Glenville State University in West Virginia, school officials announced June 20.

Report: Most Colleges Lead to a Return on Investment for Students

Colleges largely met a "minimum economic threshold" for students, according to a new Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) report, meaning students made as much as high school graduates, plus enough to recoup their investment within 10 years. More than 2,400 institutions enrolling 18.3 million students met the threshold. Another 500 institutions didn't meet the threshold.
