Unfortunately, we are not able to admit a number of strong applicants as we are limited in the size of our freshman class. For our admitted freshman, roughly 91% of their core grades were A’s, and 8+% were B’s, with a majority of these strong grades being in Honors/Advanced/AP/IB/DE courses.

scale (usually) regardless of how easy or difficult a class may be, so an A in, say, 9th grade English counts the same as an A in AP Lang. Think of it this way … if you earn a B in an AP class, that translates to a 4 in a weighted GPA instead of a 3 in an unweighted GPA. We’ll get into greater detail and examples below.

This blog is about how to get into Trinity College in Connecticut. For the class of 2026, Trinity had about a 36% acceptance rate and a 54% acceptance rate for Early Decision applications. Rigor, GPA, (and Class Rank) Trinity requires students to have 14 academic units to apply. Think IB, AP, Honors, or Dual Enrollment.
