Earlier this fall, my colleagues and I were selected to present a session at this year’s annual meeting of the Executive MBA Council. But for programs that lead to a myriad of careers (like business administration), the data are of limited use at best.

MBA acceptance rates at M7 business schools rose after the pandemic, according to a recent report. While top business school MBA acceptance rates increased, lower-ranked schools saw declining acceptance rates. MIT is the exception to the rule, with Sloan MBA acceptance rates dropping between 2021 and 2022.

INSEAD Reports MBA Pay Bumps, Slight Declines in Job Offers

More than 60% of December 2022 and July 2023 INSEAD master of business administration (MBA) graduates went into management consulting. The median annual salary for the INSEAD MBA class of 2023 was EUR 109,600, or around $118,995. Eighty-eight percent of respondents received a job offer within three months of graduating.

Columbia University Reports Robust Pay but Fewer Job Offers for 2023 MBA Grads

That figure is the same as in 2022, although job offers ticked down year over year. Dartmouth Tuck MBA Graduates Again See High Job Placement
