Admissions decisions for UCLA come out in late March, so, like many, we are eagerly awaiting word on UCLA’s final Class of 2027 acceptance rates. This year, the University of California has already released application data, which shows a slight cooling, with UCLA receiving 145,882 freshman applications.

And although yearly tuition for non-residents is markedly more expensive ($46,326 for the 2023-24 academic year), the UC system nevertheless offers students an indisputably strong bang for their buck: UC Berkeley and UCLA tied at #20 in the U.S. News and World Reports’ ranking of National Universities.
