The UW follows a quarter-term model rather than a semester model like many other schools. For schools that follow a semester-based academic calendar, the fall and spring semesters usually make up an academic “year” (with summer sometimes thrown in at the end). Don’t overload yourself.

I founded a new peer-to-peer mentoring program, pairing up freshman swimmers with junior and senior mentors to support transitions to high school. Course #1: Moral Philosophy Description: Semester-long seminar at my school. I competed in all strokes and types of events, but eventually specialized in sprints and sprint relays.
