The Best Colleges for your Astrological Sign: Aries

Alright friends, welcome to another iteration of our Astrology based college lists. The first step in the college application process is creating a list of colleges you would like to go to. Ideally, this should include a combination of safety, target, and reach schools. With so many schools to choose from, it can be difficult to figure out where to start. We are using character traits of astrological signs as a framework to create collegiate personality categories. We are approaching this as a fun experiment and by no means recommend seriously considering your astrological sign in your college decision.

Let us continue with the strongest burning fire sign. Would your friends lovingly describe you as “intense?” Do you find yourself easily bored in predictable, under-stimulating environments? Are you an energetic, independent thinker who passionately could lead any group of people with your organized charisma? Aries, or similarly brave, loud, and proud students, this list is for you.

Princeton

We’ll start with a school worthy of your competitive nature: Princeton. Our IVY League-qualified rams should consider an education at this prestigious New Jersey institution. With 54 interdisciplinary undergraduate certificate programs and a 5:1 student-to-faculty ratio, your interest will never waver. Create your own path of study within the liberal arts curriculum, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering. The Lewis Center for the Arts boasts an incredible Theater department for you to capture the spotlight.

Bates College

Located in idyllic Lewiston, Maine, Bates encourages students to pursue their passions with “ardor and devotion.” Bates offers a highly personalized liberal arts education, perfect for a self-starter. Among their 36 majors, you can opt-in for a Dual Engineering Degree program, with 3 years at Bates plus 2 at a top Engineering school. Or, your ability to thrive in a crisis could lend itself well to a career in medicine. The Bates Pre-Med track is a great place to start, with consistent graduate placement and continuous internships at nearby hospitals.

Located in the heart of the West Village, NYU offers students the education and professional experience necessary to thrive. With 18 schools and tens of thousands of internships, you are sure to stay challenged and stimulated. Among their many innovative departments, their Paramedic Training Program was rated #1 in the country. Led by a qualified physician, the 10-month program puts students directly in contact with patients at local hospitals. This is another great option for those of you who thrive under pressure.
